WHO AM I?
Hi I’m Anna Barlow-Derrig, a certified marriage celebrant with a passion for creating unforgettable wedding moments.
After the magic of my own wedding, I knew I wanted to assist couples in feeling the same feels we felt. The excitement, nerves, tears, laughter, love, joy... it is everything I am about! In the past few years, four friends asked me to unofficially marry them and I absolutely fell in love with it. So it was time for me to officially get trained up and as a result, ABD Ceremonies was born.
I call Randwick in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs home where I live with my wife and one-year-old baby boy. When I am not performing weddings, I am teaching Junior School Drama, cooking up a storm or off on yet another travel adventure with the fam. Whilst I call Sydney home, I am more than happy to travel to deliver your ceremony.
My approach is simple: I make the wedding process enjoyable and stress-free. You share your story, and I craft the words. Your ceremony should be a genuine reflection of your love, delivered in your unique style.

WHAT I OFFER
- Obligation free appointment to discuss your dream ceremony.
- 1 - 2 meetings prior to your wedding.
- Prompt responses via phone or email regarding all ceremony queries or concerns.
- Explanation, preparation and lodgement of all legal documentation.
- Writing your ceremony script that is uniquely personal to you both. There will be tears, laughter and so much joy. I will follow your lead the entire way.
- Assistance in writing your own vows.
- Rehearsal prior to the wedding (not applicable for elopements)
- Liaising with the key stakeholders to ensure the ceremony runs as smoothly as possible.
- Lodgement of all legal documents to BDM (Births, Deaths & Marriages)
- Assistance in applying for your official marriage certificate
- A seamless, stress free process from the get go!
